Pet's Companion Inn is located on 9 acres just north of the Durham city limits. (Bahama).
We are a licensed pet care facility that has been serving the TRIANGLE since 1981. Since it's concept, PCI has been owned
and operated by Gwen Baake, CKO. Originally located on Quail Roost Farm, we designed, built and moved to our present
state of the art facility in 1992. Our 16,000 square foot facility, including a 4,000 square foot atrium area, provides clean,
safe and spacious comfort in a country atmosphere. We added our VIP STUDIOS in 2005. We understand the anxiety associated
with leaving your pets. Our mission is to provide safe and loving care for your pets in your absence. Our well trained staff
and calming atmosphere will help your pet to settle in for his or her "vacation". We invite you to come for a visit

We feed Bil Jac as our primary dog food and encourage you to allow us to feed our food. We also have Lamb and Rice and canned
foods available.

Herc was a rescue that came into our lives twelve years ago. Some of you who have been
long time friends of PCI may remember him as the great "spokes dog" that he was for us. Always happy, never complaining,
he greeted every guest as they ventured back to their room. His favorite pastime was chasing his large red ball. I think he'd
have been a great soccer player. Herc suffered from a pancreatic disorder that should have taken him years ago. He died quietly
in my arms Sunday morning. Herc, we'll miss you.
